Gordon M. Marchand
Gordon Marchand is the co-founder and a partner at Sustainable Growth Advisers, LP, a Stamford, Connecticut-based investment management firm with $9 billion in client assets under management. Gordon is the firm’s managing principal and serves as a portfolio manager and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Gordon is past President and Chairman of the Investment Advisers Association (“IAA”). He is an independent Director of Chase Investment Counsel Corporation, a SEC-registered investment advisory firm. Gordon also serves as an independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at privately- owned Zounds Hearing LLC.
Professional designations: Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”), Chartered Investment Counselor (“CIC”), and Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”). Gordon holds an MBA from University of Massachusetts/Amherst, earned a BS from Georgetown University, and completed graduate business study at Oxford University.
Robert D. Johnson
Robert Johnson is a technical executive with a passion for driving innovation in I/T based solutions and services. He has a strong track record in building global technical and cross-functional teams, delivering innovative products and solutions with significant business impact. An IBM Alumni, Robert led advanced technology teams in IBM Software Group as Director of Development of IBM Cloud Software Patterns, and the project launch of Openpediatrics.org, a collaboration between Boston Children’s Hospital and IBM, which addressed cloud-based support of pediatric ICU’s world-wide.
Prior to Software Group, Robert was a Senior Manager in the Computer Science department at the IBM Research Watson Lab, with teams responsible for emerging web technologies, and at IBM Research Almaden, he did pioneering work in nanotechnology and material science. Robert received technical achievement awards in computer science, storage technology and carbon nanotechnology, and authored over 70 scientific papers. He has a BS degree from the University of Michigan, an MS from Oregon State University, and a Ph.D. from UC-Davis. Robert was named by Science Watch as one of the Top 30 High Impact Physical Scientists World Wide, 1990-1996, and is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
Jon R. Stockel
Jon Stockel retired as the Chief Financial Officer of BWP Distributors Inc. After graduating from Babson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Jon joined his family’s business in auto parts distribution, CARQUEST Auto Parts, where he started as a warehouse manager, moved on to Corporate Controller, and eventually led the Finance and Accounting responsibilities of the organization. In 2012, the Stockel family sold the business, ending Jon's 40-plus years career in auto parts.
Jon currently manages the family’s real estate assets and investment holdings, along with various charitable activities, including serving as a Board Member of Ridgefield A Better Chance. Jon lives in Ridgefield, CT, with his wife, two children, and dog, Charlie. An avid golfer, Jon belongs to Anglebrook Golf Club, Emerald Dunes Club, Hudson National Golf Club, The Outpost Club, and plays on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour.

Roger Knick is the Founder and Executive Director of GPC Foundation, Inc., the Founder/President of The Golf Performance Center, Inc., and the Founder of the Junior Golf Hub, LLC.
A sports performance specialist and entrepreneur, Roger has spent over 20 years developing and refining his knowledge and practical application of coaching. He has been able to apply the Functional Movement Screen System to his Professional Golfers Association of America classification, his Titleist Performance Institute, K-Motion Biomechanics, and Paul Chek Biomechanics for Golf certifications, and his educational background of exercise science from Elon University to all his pupils, including aspiring high school and collegiate athletes, as well as PGA, LPGA, NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL players. Roger’s ability to coach at many different levels is due to his diverse background in sports, along with his understanding and philosophy that “Function Dictates Form.” Having been a Division-1 athlete as well as a professional athlete, Roger has an intimate understanding of his students’ dreams and goals, and how to coach them for success.
Roger lectures in the field of sports performance development for competitive and aspiring junior athletes to active competitive adults. He has served as a consultant to many players and universities for golf, basketball, hockey, and baseball performance enhancement. Roger has written many topical articles and is in the process of writing his first books with the working titles of The Best Golfer Ever Built and Bird’s Eye View of the Recruiting Process for the Junior Golf Student/Athlete.
Michael C. Salvator
Michael Salvator is the Chief Operating Officer of Stone Canyon Industries, LLC, a global industrial holding company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. With consolidated revenues of over $3 billion generated from several core industry verticals, companies within the SCI family operate in over 160 locations throughout 18 countries with over 10,000 employees dedicated to providing products and services of unmatched quality and reliability to thousands of customers around the world.
Prior to Stone Canyon, Michael was a Senior MD and CFO at the private equity firm, J.H. Whitney & Co., where he was responsible for the oversight of the firm’s accounting, compliance, finance, and investor relation functions. Additionally, Michael was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and served on the Board of Directors of several companies within the business services, consumer products, and specialty manufacturing industries. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, B.S. and a non-active CPA. Michael previously served as a Board Member of the City of Norwalk Pension plan, and also helped launch Pledgeling, a charity donation platform.
